Based on an internal early-warning procedure TermCoord examines the subjects of the legislative procedures which are to enter EP plenary sessions. Thus it is able to provide translators with glossaries and language-specific material in advance before the translation process starts.
TermCoord:

checks the reliability and evaluates the content of found and received glossaries;

participates in the quality control procedures (Quality team meetings / random checks) concerning terminology related aspects;

prepares specific glossaries on request (of EP committees or translation services) and updates the respective entries in IATE.
