LISE – Legal Language Interoperability Services

TermCoord is glad to present the EU-project Legal Language Interoperability Services (LISE).

The project, in cooperation with the University of Vienna, ESTeam AB, Cross Language, EURAC Research, and the Austrian Parliamentary Administration is intended to improve real-life processes and workflows as well as the quality of data in multilingual legal/administrative terminology management.

LISE aims at enabling data owners in public administrations and translation departments to manage their terminological data on the basis of best practices in inter-institutional, interdisciplinary, and multilingual terminology management workflows and by using web services to support this work.

The LISE web services will help terminology managers in public institutions, private service providers and companies in order to improve the quality of their terminology collections in legal and administrative domains.
