One Continent, Many Tongues

Experts of multilingualism in Europe have met for the conference ‘One Continent, Many Tongues: A Spotlight on Europe’s Linguistic Wealth’ which took place on November 15-16th in Parma (Italy) and was organised by The meeting focused on the results of a project intended to promote multilingualism in Europe.

The meeting brought together experts from different fields such as culture, art, education, sciences, public spaces and politics who shared their points of view. Some of the issues discussed by the guests and the public were multilingualism in practice, multilingualism in the civil society and in the public spaces, and multilingualism as a way of integration for the European citizens.
