TermCoord becomes member of TermNet

TermnetThe Terminology Coordination Unit of the European Parliament has become member of the International Network for Terminology (TermNet), which was founded on the initiative of the UNESCO with the aim of establishing a network for co-operation in the area of terminology, bringing together companies, universities, institutions and associations.

Through its external cooperation activities, TermCoord keeps in contact with organisations and individuals active in the field of terminology and interact with them, among others, via its blog, emails and newsletters, visits and conference participations, as well as via memberships in terminology associations, all of which offer an opportunity to exchange information, expertise and ideas. TermCoord is also member of the European Association for Terminology (EAFT) and the International Information Centre for Terminology (Infoterm).
