IATE Term of the Week: Emergency Response Centre

This week we have chosen the term Emergency Response Centre, following its recent launch in Brussels by the European Commission to help tackle disasters in the world.

    The Finnish centre for terminology, TSK, translates ERC to Swedish as “larmcentral” with the definition “ställe där det finns kontinuerlig dejour för mottagande av larmmeddelanden och sändning av alarm”.
